Tango Legends

I have been a fan of ‘world’ music for many years. From Reggae, to Latino Salsas, to sultry Tango...the music just invites one to get up and dance.

And now with the advent of reality TV shows based on ballroom dancing, all the more reason to discover the ‘roots’ of some fascinating rhythms.

Vayo (pronounced Vah’-djoh) brings us this music from Uruguay with its traditional Tango musicians. His vocals are soulful and moving. The instrumentation is striking and dramatic.

The Tango is an art form, be it through dance, or musical instrument. And I invite you to allow that art to take you to new places, as you listen to this worthy CD.

Personal favorites of mine were, “Amargura”, “Don Juan”, & “Nostalgias”. I’m sure that you will readily find your own favorites.
