Oh man, I am in love… with a voice and an album. I have played this CD so many times, my husband thinks I am obsessed with Christmas. But it’s the fantastic jazzy sounds on this CD that make my soul soar. From the first song, I was swept away… & to the last note, I remained in “Joy”. You can bet that this album will be in my 6 pack CD player for the entire holiday season!
John Fluker, pianist extraordinaire, takes a few traditional carols and turns them upside down/inside out, as a celebration of Christ’s birth, life, & the spirit of the season. I was blown away by the talent of this man. Can you tell?
